ORIGIN AMINO© is one of the best, most complete, amino intra/post workout recovery drinks on the market, with branch chain amino acids, essential amino acids, and a detailed electrolyte hydration complex!

The amino acid profiles within ORIGIN AMINO© work to be both anabolic and anti-catabolic (building muscle and stopping muscle wasting). Addition electrolytes have been added to help maintain proper muscle hydration and function.

BCAA 2:1:1 – 8,000 mg

Branched chain amino acids are the building blocks of our life. BCAAS are what protein is broken down into in order to repair and rebuild our muscles stronger. BCAAS stimulate muscle myofibrillar protein synthesis following resistance training (1).

L-Glutamine – 1,500mg

L-Glutamine is the most abundant free amino acid in the body that aids the body in times of stress, such as intense training sessions and recovery (1). Glutamine is formed in the muscles and when lacking in the body, muscle waste can occur, therefore, supplementing with glutamine is ideal for long-term muscle protein synthesis (2).

 L-Citrulline Malate 2:1 – 1,000mg

L-citrulline is a non-essential amino acid that is easily converted into L-arginine and nitric oxide (3). Combined, these improve blood flow, vascularity, and decrease muscle soreness, resulting in that “swole” effect after a good workout. Research shows that L-Citrulline improves workout efficiency by decreasing the necessary amount of time it takes to achieve a higher number of repetitions (4).

L-Arginine AKG 2:1 – 750 mg

When taken as a supplement, this compound increases nitric oxide production, improving vasodilation during resistance training and increase calories burned (5). This is beneficial in both fat loss and muscle building.

 L-Phenylalanine – 350mg

L-Phenylalanine is a non-essential amino acid that has been shown to simulate whole body fat oxidation when combined with exercise (6).

 L-Lysine – 300mg

This essential amino acid is important in calcium absorption, muscle protein synthesis, recovering from muscle damage and injury, and aiding the body in the production of hormones, enzymes, and antibodies (7). Lysine is a necessary ingredient when trying to create major changes within our bodies.

 L-Threonine – 100mg

L-Threonine is an essential amino acid that is vital for our health. It supports central nervous, cardiovascular, liver, and immune functioning as well as aiding in the production of collagen, elastin, and muscle tissue (8). These functions also result in promoting fat metabolism, muscle recovery, and improved digestion (8).

L-Histidine – 100mg

L-Histidine is a proteinogenic amino acid with a long list of benefits on body composition. This amino acid has been shown to reduce insulin resistance, reduce BMI and fat mass, and suppress inflammation/oxidative stress (9).

L-Tryptophan – 75mg

L-Trytophan aids the body in making proteins and brain-signaling chemicals. Our bodies turn this amino acid into serotonin which helps control mood and sleep (10). Improved sleep and mood reduces stress, which releases cortisol, a catabolic (muscle destroying) hormone.

 L-Methionine – 25mg

This amino acid is required for growth and tissue repair in the body (11). It also contains many detoxifying benefits which are healthy for the body under times intense, stressful training (11).
